My Reflection on the First Week

   The first week is already  finishes and I'd like to share my reports about this week  with you:
  1) I  introduced myself  to my teacher administrator  and course-mates from different  parts of  the world     and   get  acquainted  with them.It  is a great experience!I have teacher mate from my country too.
  2) I've created my  web blog and  replaced it in Wiki  Blog Role.I 've followed  my collegues blogs and continue doing.Some of the,Brigitte and  Sadia  also followed my blog.
  3) I' ve learned  The Ground rules by Robert Elliot  and commented  on the Nicenet forums.

  4) I added my hometown to Google Map.(It was an ice-breaker  not important assignment)
In my opinion  we'll be collaborating well  with:

  • Encourage collaboration
  • Use an integrated approach

  Dear  Colleagues! I hope all of you had an interesting and wonderful week.It is interesting because I see that  this  week we pass through a wonderful knowledge world.
I think we need  use computer technologies  in classes more than now.But  most of  us don't  or can't  do that.
This is because the classes are not interactive enough and the learning process turns to be very slow and insignificant for some students. In  my country we  use  new  Curriculums.
General Education Concept (National Curriculum) in Azerbaijan Republic - General education concept in the Azerbaijan Republic (hereinafter referred to as National Curriculum) is a conceptual framework document that describes learning outcomes and content standards for general education, subjects stipulated under each sub-level of general education, weekly workload for classroom-based and out-of-classroom activities, arrangement of teaching process, main principles of assessment and monitoring of learning achievements and design of subject curricula.

National curriculum has been developed according to the following general principles:
• Taking into consideration of national and world values;
• Establishment of favorable learning environment for all students taking into consideration their general development level, inclinations and interests;
• Requirement orientation;
• Outcome orientation;
• Student - centered;
• Integrity.
 During teaching English I have more chance to use  computer in my classes.Our  new text  books(written by new curriculums) give me  a great opportunity for it.
I  widely use    http://learnenglishkids.britishcouncil.org/en/  sites while teaching prosses.It is good for motivate students  with songs, stories,plays and etc.
Some of my students  have internet  access at home and  they  don't  play  useless  games  on computers.They use  it for educational purposes.
At  the begining of Web Skills  course  I  went to  Nicenet and created "my classroom " there. And I think  to continue  working  with my  students  and collaborating other teachers  in virtual teaching and learning way.It is easy  and  usefull.

Hi Peri. Very nice post, and your navigation default is now in English. Great work. Now there is one more thing to do to make it easier for us to post to your blog.

Can you please turn off 'word verification' on your blog to make it easier to add comments. It is item #6 on the instruction sheet. The link to the sheet is:
